I started in the agricultural world in 1976 working on an intensive arable and livestock farm in Oxfordshire prior to attending the principle agricultural education establishment in the UK, Harper Adams Agricultural College. There I studied Agriculture and Marketing over three years which included a period of study with one of the largest independent ruminant feed manufacturers in the UK.

After graduating in 1981 I joined Criddle & Co Ltd, a Liverpool-based feed ingredient trading business; as Managing Director I led the growth and development of the business in terms of both scale and scope of operations.

Over the 30 plus years with Criddle I gained an extensive knowledge of the UK agricultural marketplace from the perspective of farm sourcing, importation, logistics, risk management, currency implications and position hedging and, importantly, administration.

In 2011 I set up International Agri Trading Ltd to concentrate on trading agricultural markets, currencies and stock indices independently. In addition I undertake detailed technical market analysis and offer consultancy services to the UK and international agricultural marketplace.
